 Blackjack Remastered – Game Overview 

The bet sizes available on Blackjack Remastered range from $1 to $1,000. 

Feel right at home playing this Atlantic City-inspired blackjack variant, which offers a number of game-enhancing options detailed below. 

How to Play 

The aim of the game is to beat the dealer by drawing a hand value that’s as close to 21 without exceeding it.  

Continue drawing cards until your hand hits 21 or as close to it as you possibly can. 

If your first two cards are an Ace and either a 10 or a picture card, you have hit Blackjack and have won. 

Choose to stand if you no longer wish to receive cards. 

Any hand with a value higher than 21 is considered a bust and will result in a loss, regardless of the dealer’s hand. 

On a hand equal to or less than 16, the dealer must draw, and on a hand with a value of 17 or above, they must stand. 

If you and the dealer end up with the same hand value, it’s called a ‘push’, and you’ll get your bet back. 

Blackjack 21s (an Ace and a 10 or picture card) beat non-Blackjack 21s. 

An Ace can have a value of one or 11, depending on which value helps you more. 

Cards from two to nine are face value, while the 10 and picture cards (Jacks, Queens, Kings) are all worth 10.  

Splitting 

You can split your hand if you receive two cards of the same value. This will give you two hands. 

You’ll have to place a bet equal to the original bet on the second hand. 

It won’t be considered Blackjack if you split two Aces and then receive a card with a value of 10. 

If the dealer hits Blackjack, the hand above (two split Aces and a card with a value of 10) loses. 

In Blackjack Remastered you can split your hand three times, allowing a total of four hands. 

Aces, however, can only be split once. 

Double Down 

This feature makes it possible to double your original wager. 

Once you’ve done that, you’ll receive an extra card, and you can choose whether this is dealt face up or face down. 

In Blackjack Remastered, you can double down on any two cards regardless of their total. 

You can also choose to double down after splitting your initial hand. 

Insurance 

For half the cost of your original wager, you can purchase insurance in the unfortunate event that the dealer’s first card is an Ace. 

If the dealer hits Blackjack, the insurance will pay out at 2:1 and the original wager will be lost. 

If not, you’ll lose your insurance bet and the game carries on as normal. 

Surrender 

If it’s not looking good, walk away from your hand once it’s been dealt by using the Surrender feature. 

If you choose this option, you’ll lose half your original wager.
