Wild Symbols
Wilds are available in this game.
They override all symbols except Scatters.
In the main game, Free Spins and Re-Spins, Wilds can land on any reel.
Wild symbol substitution pays the highest possible winning combination on a bet line, according to the paytable.
Scatter Symbols
Scatters can appear on reels one, three and five only in the main game.
Re-Spin Feature
Land two Scatters to trigger this feature and be awarded one re-spin.
The Symbol Charge Up (below) will be activated for the round.
The Symbol Spinner will then reveal which symbol you have been awarded for the feature; followed by the Feature Spinner, which will determine what feature will be applied to that symbol.
If the Symbol Spinner lands on a Scatter, the Feature Spinner will subsequently land on the Bat Head - if this happens, Free Spins will trigger at the end of the re-spin.
This feature uses the same bet level and coin value as the triggering spin.
Any wins will be added to wins from the initial spin at the end.
Free Spins
Free Spins triggers if:
- Three Scatters land on reels one, three and five in the main game
- The Symbol Feature lands on a Scatter during the Re-Spin feature
The number of free spins awarded depends on the bet level you are playing at, as outlined below:
- Base bet - awards four free spins
- Bonus bet - awards five free spins
The Symbol Charge Up will be activated during this feature.
As with the Re-Spin feature, the Symbol Spinner will determine which symbol you have been awarded and the Feature Spinner will determine what feature will be applied to that symbol.
Both the symbol and feature awarded will remain in-play until the end of Free Spins.
If the Symbol Spinner lands on a Scatter, you will be awarded an extra free spin (up to a maximum of seven), as well as another spin of the Symbol Spinner.
Any wins will be added to wins from the triggering round at the end of the feature, before regular play resumes.
Free Spins uses the same bet level and coin value as the triggering round.
Symbol Charge Up
In Ozzy Osbourne, the Symbol Charge Up will be activated for the whole of Free Spins and the Re-Spin feature.
This results in the following outcome, as described above:
- Symbol Spinner - reveals what symbol you'll be awarded for the feature
- Feature Spinner - determines what feature will be applied to the awarded symbol
The Symbol Spinner can award any symbol except Wilds.
The following features can be awarded from the Feature Spinner:
- Coin Win - whenever the awarded symbol appears on the reels, you will be granted a coin win equal to a 3-of-a-kind win, which will be multiplied by the bet level
- Wild - every time the awarded symbol hits the reels, it will turn into a Wild
- Symbol Multiplier - every time the chosen symbol is involved in a win, the awarded multiplier will be applied to that win. When playing at base bet, the available multiplier values are x2 and x3; when playing at Bonus bet, the available multiplier values are x5 and x7 (in Free Spins, if a symbol is awarded two multiplier values, they will combine)
- Upgrade - the awarded symbol will turn into the symbol before it, according to the paytable, whenever one lands. The following rules apply to the Upgrade feature:
1) In Free Spins, every feature already applied to the symbol it transforms into will be awarded (the Upgrade cannot be applied to the first symbol on the paytable)
2) If triggered more than once, it's possible for the Upgrade feature to be chained (e.g. if the Upgrade feature is applied to the Skull symbol, it will turn into the Crow symbol. If the Upgrade feature is then applied to the Cross symbol in Free Spins, it will also turn into the Crow symbol, as a result of the chain)
3) Only one feature can be awarded per symbol in Free Spin. However, if more than one multiplier is won, both values will be awarded to the same symbol
